<p>Shawn Mrzena has been connected to the water from an early age; his earliest memories are of spending the morning hours playing and discovering the marine life in the Florida panhandle. His passion and connection to the ocean was rekindled when he became a certified scuba diver in 2007.  </p>

<p>With a Visual Communications degree from the Art Institute of Seattle it was only a matter of time until his artistic side crossed paths with a passion for the ocean. Self-taught in photography Shawn Mrzena has been capturing underwater images since 2007 from the cold waters of the Puget Sound to the warm waters of Indonesia. </p>
